Job Summary
Coordinate all aspects of inventory control and to assist the Administrator in the daily operation of the facility activities in accordance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures. Promotes communication throughout the facility.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates/Eligibility: Ability to type 40wpm, use standard office equipment, and be computer literate. Knowledge of medical terminology. Previous experience in purchasing, central supply preferred. Good communication and language skills required. Current BLS.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of facility maintenance, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Maintain equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Collaborate with external vendors for specialized maintenance services as required.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Plans duties and assignments in order of priority.
- Establishes and maintains inventory control.
- Controls safe minimum par levels and economic reordering.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Researches vendors to obtain information as to quality and cost of products.
- Solicits competitive bids in accordance with prudent buying policies.
- Handles all repairs and replacements of instruments and equipment, and maintains records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
