Position Summary:
As a Contract Closeout Supervisor at VisionCorps, you will be responsible for directing the preparation, acceptance, and management of assigned government/commercial/international contracts and subcontracts. Directs all phases of the contract administration process from inception through completion including preparing, reviewing, and proving all contractual documents to ensure protection of the company's contractual posture. Typically acomplishes objectives through subordinate management and/or professional staff.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred but not required.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in Federal government contracting
- Minimum two (2) years of demonstrated successful supervisory experience
- Experience working with Federal contracts
- Excellent communication, technical, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to identify and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and manage their
expectations
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Ability-One program is preferred
- Possess valid government issued ID
- Strong written and oral communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project), Cloud
products, Business Central, etc.
- High Proficiency of contract writing systems such as Procurement Desktop Defense, Con-IT,
PRISM, COMPRIZON (preferred)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Contract Administration:
- Direct the administration of assigned contracts including negotiating, preparing, reviewing,
approving, and terminating contractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual
posture
- Direct contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract
acquisition and fulfillment n accordance with company policies, legal requirements and
customer specifications
- Advise management of contractual rights, issues, and obligations and provide interpretation of
terms and conditions
- Act as primary contact for contracts activities and issues. Represent the company with customers,
potential customers, Ability-One and government representatives
Company Compliance:
- Ensure the company's proprietary interests are protected and that company policy is followed for
processes such as, but not limited to, the review chain for reports, papers and articles
- Direct the review of agreements and evaluate documentation and authorization forms to identify
problematic provisions and determine if the minimum requirements are met
- May assist in reviewing agreements for consistency with laws, government regulations, economic
conditions, and company policies
Strategic Partnership:
- Act as a key liaison to the National Industries for the Blind (NIB) with the responsibility for
developing strategic relationships with other associations, suppliers, business partners and
government entities
- Consult with management in the development of new business or expansion of existing business
opportunities
- Remain current on commercial/government/international laws, regulations and practices affecting
contracts and related agreements
- Participate in NAEPB Working Groups and Committees
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade associations; may participate in trade shows and
conferences
- Work with Marketing to develop and refine promotional strategies for Professional Services to
engage prospective government and commercial clients
Human Capital:
- Direct the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of human resources to ensure
the availability of the required management and professional talent
Administration & Management:
- Work directly with VP of PSD management on developing strategic plans, annual budget, P&L,
recruiting pipeline
- Monitor revenues and expenses throughout the year and reports to Vice President of Services
- Provide guidance, support and training to junior contract close-out specialists and other team
members
- Responsible for the creation of Salesforce and Ability One Reports as needed for management
- Prepare and present reports on contract status, metrics, revenue, forecasting, strategic plan, and
issues pertinent to senior management
- Responsible for the Business Development Strategy & Process Flow; ISO documentation
- Develop best practices and implement continuous improvements
- Maintain contract repository, database, and indexing system
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Services
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work a minimum of full-time hours; overtime
- Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle and/or operate objects, tools, or
controls; reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to sit for extended periods of time
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds
Work Environment
- Work in an office and remote environment
- Travel up to /- 10% of the time, which may include public-facing forums and companysponsored
events
