About This Role
We're seeking a strategic leader to join our team as a VP/Chief Human Resources Officer. This is a full-time role with typical shifts Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to all direct reports and their respective divisions including Human Resources and Culture & Inclusion.
- Identify top areas of opportunity related to Talent Strategy and talent management and plan resources and focus accordingly.
- Create and implement enterprise-wide human resources strategies and programs that facilitate transformative HR.
- Ensure effective human resource management systems, processes and standards are in place to support business strategies and in accordance with federal, state, local regulatory requirements.
- Lead and oversee continual review, evolution, efficacy, and compliance of all employee benefit offerings and talent acquisition and retention efforts.
- Oversee Talent Management/Development efforts and strategies and gather cross functional support and ideas as appropriate.
- Oversee and champion for internal DEIB efforts, helping to continually embed the importance of inclusion in the organizational culture.
- Lead or sponsor cross-functional projects and initiatives which support employee experience.
- Assess cultural impact of human resources or talent related processes, procedures and changes.
- Act as a member of the management and leadership team at Visions. Provide coaching and support to managers and advise as appropriate in all functional areas of Human Resources or DEIB.
- Review operating policies, procedures, objectives, and goals for each area of responsibility to ensure that they support strategic direction of Visions.
- Direct short and long-term departmental planning and development, including succession planning for key positions and functions.
- Participate in strategic planning or other enterprise functions as requested.
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
- Perform other duties needed to help fulfill our mission, drive our strategy, and support our organization's values.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Human Resources or related field.
- At least 7 years related experience working directly in multiple HR disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years Human Resources leadership experience.
- Knowledge of various federal, state, and HR-related laws, rules, and regulations.
- Experience working with Executive Leadership.
