The Role : Visionz Designs is seeking a Screen Print Stager & Ink Mixer to join our team. Reporting to the Screen Print & Embroidery Manager, a successful candidate will be responsible for gathering materials for print production and staging them at printing presses to ensure smooth operation of print production and timely completion of orders. The role will also involve mixing inks to match colors to job specification, checking for color accuracy and cleaning and put away of used equipment.
Responsibilities :
Staging garments, inks and squeegees at screen printing presses in accordance with production schedule.
Mixing inks to job specifications, ensuring color accuracy.
Report errors or discrepancies on job tickets to the Screen Print & Embroidery Manager as necessary.
Cleaning squeegees after production runs to ensure they are ready for reuse.
Follow instructions from the Screen Print Manager and follow production schedules to meet deadlines.
Follow cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
Working in other departments may be required from time to time.
Experience :
Experience in a screen printing or similar environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Ability to take instruction and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem solve and adapt to a changing work environment.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as part of the screen printing process
