The core of this position is to maintain employee records for compliance purposes, as well as work with a small team to make sure the overall office is running smoothly. Your job will be to check with the staffing department to be sure our clients are getting staffed properly, as well as the marketing department to gauge the flow and effectiveness of new clients coming on board. You will be in charge of managing an overall small team to be sure, from A to Z, start to finish, when a client comes on board with us to receive care, that everything goes smoothly. In addition, when a client needs an in-home assessment or visit, you will go to their home for a spot check to be sure our caregiver is providing proper care.
The starting hours for this position will be full-time (30 hours per week), 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for receptionist duties and general office support.
Maintain logs and patient assignment lists.
Maintain an Administration Binder with all insurances, records, etc.for Auditing purposes
Maintain a clean office environment
Update the status of patients, including admissions and discharges.
Verify the accuracy of data entry from the completed admission.
Maintain recertification of insurance benefits per Billing Procedures Manual.
Track re-certification periods and alert the patient care manager of upcoming re-certifications.
File and keep employee records current.
Prepare for interdisciplinary group meetings.

Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year working in an office setting
Ability to handle a high volume of calls while delivering exceptional customer service (healthcare industry experience is an asset)
Ability to multitask and prioritize
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Additional language skills considered an asset)
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Proficient in Google Docs and ability to learn proprietary software
Medical terminology knowledge is an asset but not required
