Local Home Health Organization, Visiting Angels, is seeking a friendly, organized, and experienced person to join our Lufkin office management team as an Administrative Office Assistant - Recruiting Manager. The Administrative Office Assistant - Recruiting Manager is a key member of our staff who provides the support required for efficient office operations. The ideal candidate must have a professional demeanor, be a self-starter, a problem solver, be able to think outside of the box, have the ability to multitask, and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Some of the responsibilities for this position are:
- Demonstrate dependability.
- Work collaboratively with key team members to understand retention needs and the existing caregiver pool.
- Assist in processing applications, checking references, and running Criminal Background Checks for all potential employees. Scheduling interviews for potential employees with appropriate supervisor. Ensure TB tests and drug screens are obtained upon hire and annual testing records maintained.
- Conduct new caregiver staff orientations - as needed.
- Organize and maintain file systems in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Perform general clerical duties – correspondence, copying, filing, and distribution.
- Assisting with intakes of potential patients and the follow up associated with these potential patients - as needed.
- Responsible for overall client satisfaction and customer service.
- Coordinating care with appropriate medical/non-medical institutions.
- Assist with scheduling as needed in staffing cases according to agency guidelines and client needs, being proactive in meeting the needs of both caregiver and client.
- Maintain positive relationships with all clients and referral sources.
- Communicate and refer appropriate matters to the Owner and/or direct supervisor for direction.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client’s families in accordance with company and HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures, Basic 12 and the Points System to caregiver staff.
- Perform other miscellaneous clerical tasks deemed appropriate by management.
Office hours are Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, on call as needed. Bonuses are available after a 90-day positive review.
