We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Granbury, TX.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional care by managing schedules, recruiting and interviewing caregivers, and maintaining communication with staff and clients. This position reports directly to the Office Director and requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain client and caregiver schedules, ensuring clients' needs are met with all of the hours requested.
- Conduct interviews and hire high-quality caregivers based on current client needs, ensuring the right balance by hiring enough caregivers to meet demand without overstaffing, and aligning with business growth objectives.
- Maintain ongoing communication with caregivers regarding their schedule preferences, availability, and shift placements.
- Conduct regular check-ins with new caregivers at key milestones, including after their first shift, first week, first month, and 60 days, to ensure they feel supported and engaged, fostering long-term retention.
- Be on-call one week per month, along with rest of staff, to handle after-hours schedule changes and problem-solving.
- Schedule supervisory visits for staff RN to visit with Veteran clients.
- Ensure caregiver employment paperwork is accurate and up to date.
- Foster strong relationships with caregivers, ensuring they feel equipped and supported to provide exceptional care to clients.
- Work collaboratively with office staff, maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding office needs.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree or higher preferred.
- Administrative or professional experience is required.
- Extensive experience with computers and software applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules.
- Ability to remain calm and diffuse stressful situations with clients and caregivers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Willingness to work hard and contribute to the growth of the business rather than maintaining the status quo.
