Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Help with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
- Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with medical protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient service.
- Educate patients and their families on basic health care practices as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a home care agency or care facility, such as a nursing home, rehab, or memory care facility.
- Reliable transportation and a valid and active driver license and auto insurance.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm under pressure.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 β 40 per week
