We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, reliable, hard-working, and self motivating professional who is able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, function in a multitasking environment, and is able to work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
· Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
· Delicacy with phone answering, texting, and emailing
· Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
· Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
· Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
· Monitor level of supplies
· Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
· Compliance with established policies
· Recruit direct care staff
· Perform office duties
· Able to perform client care when in a pinch.
Skills
· Two years of experience in an office setting, preferably in private duty homecare, healthcare or senior/elderly care
· Some college degree preferred, but not required
· Proven experience as a back-office assistance, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
· Answer multiple phone calls
· Thorough understanding of office management procedures
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
