Visiting Angels "America's Choice In-Home Care" proudly provides In-Home caregiving services to our clients in Saddlebrooke, Tucson, Marana, Green Valley, Sierra Vista, and surrounding areas. We are locally owned and operated. Our office is located in the beautiful Northwest Tucson and has been for over 17 years. Our goal is to allow our clients to remain as independent as possible while providing them with the assistance that they truly need. - Answer the telephone and greet the public.
- Be dependable: arrive on time and complete assigned tasks.
- Schedule caregiver staff for hours of service on new clients and open hours/shifts on existing cases. Ensure consistency in caregiver scheduling. Schedule caregivers for "on-going" assignments.
- Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry for schedules and client information.
- Build out schedules on a monthly basis.
- Communicate scheduling updates or changes to caregivers, clients and case managers.
- Ensure that employee files are complete by entering appropriate information/notes into the scheduling system in a timely manner.
- Monitor employee attendance and track time records daily. Make appropriate corrections to the system to facilitate accurate payroll processing.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, caregivers and referral sources.
- Communicate and refer appropriate matters to the Client Case Managers, Recruitment/Retention Coordinator and/or Director of Operations for additional guidance.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client’s families.
- Communicate and reinforce Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures to caregiver staff.
- Manage on-call evening and weekend care, as directed. Keep on-call materials current with client information, instructions and directions, current roster of care and roster of active direct care staff. Prepare and maintain the on-call log, client and employee records. Manage calls in accordance with the company policies.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
- Perform other functions, as deemed appropriate by the management team.
