What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health RN Clinical Manager position at Visiting Nurse and Hospice of the Wabash Valley?
The VNA Clinical Manager provides leadership for home care clinicians in conjunction with the CEO and leadership team. Ensures patient’s needs are met through staffing and quality care. Responsible for day-to-day operations of home care including compliance with current policies and procedures, regulatory and corporate compliance, data/outcome review, and staff development and management.
As the VNA Clinical Manager (RN), you will:
- Clinical Leadership and Quality Care: Oversee clinical processes, including supervision, performance management, and staff productivity monitoring.
- Organizational Leadership and Administration: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the organization's mission, goals, and operations.
- Staff Development and Team Collaboration: Recruit, train, and mentor staff while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Patient Advocacy and Community Engagement: Promote patient satisfaction through excellent customer service, cultural competency, and advocacy for patients' rights.
To qualify for the VNA Clinical Manager (RN), with us:
- Current Indiana licensure as a Registered Nurse, BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in nursing; home health or hospice experience required.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory management experience.
- Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and writing skills with excellent oral communication skills.
- Understands the significance and importance of setting and meeting goals.
- Must meet and work successfully with a wide variety of people.
- Must be able to set a realistic schedule and meet deadlines.
- Flexible in work schedule as required.
- Ability to work under all levels of stress and able to multi-task successfully during peak times.
- Integrity, creativity, persistence, and achievement oriented.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
- Must meet the requirements for employment, including but not limited to, possession of a valid driver’s license.
