Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential personal care services such as bathing, grooming, and assisting clients with mobility within their homes.
- Perform homemaker duties including housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands to ensure a clean and supportive living environment.
- Maintain open communication with the VNA regarding client needs and service delivery.
- Attend mandatory training sessions, which consist of two days of classroom instruction and one day of on-the-job training (OJT).
- Drive to client locations, potentially covering distances of 45 miles or more, as referrals are assigned.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain a compassionate approach to care.
- Reliable transportation with proof of automobile insurance is essential.
- Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check.
- Must not appear on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL).
- Completion of an application form with at least two verifiable business references is mandatory.
