Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ symptoms and monitor responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on effective self-care practices.
- Address inquiries regarding medications, dietary needs, disease processes, and activity levels.
- Administer intravenous and injectable medications as prescribed.
- Conduct wound management and ostomy care with a focus on restoring patient independence.
- Communicate significant changes in patients’ health to their physicians.
- Proficient in assessing symptoms and treatment responses.
- Strong ability to educate patients and caregivers.
- Expertise in administering IV and injectable medications.
- Knowledgeable in wound management and ostomy care.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematics, and follow instructions.
- A minimum of one year of experience in home health or nursing roles, along with a valid Missouri nursing license.
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance are essential.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
- Not listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL).
- Completed application process with at least two credible business references, including accurate contact information.
