Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient symptoms related to various conditions and monitor responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on effective self-care practices and answer inquiries regarding medications, dietary needs, and health management.
- Administer intravenous and injectable medications, implement prescribed treatment plans, and provide wound care and ostomy management.
- Facilitate the restoration of patient independence and promptly communicate any changes in health status to the supervising physician.
- Proficient in assessing disease symptoms and treatment responses.
- Strong ability to educate patients and caregivers on self-management strategies.
- Knowledgeable in administering IV and injectable medications and performing wound care.
- Excellent communication skills for relaying health updates to physicians and healthcare teams.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Must possess a valid Missouri nursing license and have a minimum of one year of home health or nursing experience.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematics, and follow prescribed protocols.
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance are required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check is mandatory.
- Must not be listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL).
- Completion of a comprehensive application along with at least two credible business references is necessary.
- Capacity to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
