Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients’ symptoms and responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and caregivers on self-care practices and medication management.
- Address inquiries related to medications, dietary needs, disease management, and activity levels.
- Administer intravenous and injectable medications as prescribed.
- Conduct wound care and ostomy management.
- Promote patient independence and communicate any health changes to healthcare providers.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and caregivers.
- Proficiency in administering IV and injectable medications.
- Competence in performing prescribed treatments and managing wounds.
- Ability to educate patients and their families about care protocols.
- Physical capacity to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Capable of reading, writing, performing basic math, and following instructions.
- Minimum of one year of experience in home health or nursing, with a valid Missouri nursing license.
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
- Not listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL).
- Complete a full application with at least two credible business references.
