Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and responses to treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on self-care practices.
- Respond to inquiries regarding medications, dietary needs, disease processes, and activity levels.
- Administer intravenous and injectable medications as prescribed.
- Execute prescribed treatments, manage wounds, and provide ostomy care.
- Facilitate independence in patients and relay health changes to physicians.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking capabilities.
- Proficiency in patient education and communication.
- Experience in administering medications and managing complex care needs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Capable of reading, writing, performing basic mathematics, and following detailed instructions.
- A minimum of one year of nursing or home health experience is required.
- Valid nursing license in the state of Missouri.
- Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Completion of pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
- Registration with the Family Care Registry.
- Not listed on the Employee Disqualification List (EDL).
- Successful submission of a complete application with two credible business references.
