Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient symptoms and responses to treatments
- Educate patients and caregivers on effective care practices
- Administer prescribed medications, including IV and injectable options
- Perform essential treatments, manage wounds, and provide ostomy care
- Communicate any changes in patient health to the attending physician
- Facilitate the restoration of patient independence through comprehensive care
- Proficient in conducting assessments of disease symptoms and treatment responses
- Ability to effectively educate patients and their caregivers
- Skilled in administering intravenous and injectable medications
- Experience in performing treatments, wound management, and ostomy care
- Strong communication skills to relay patient health changes to physicians
- Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Missouri
- A minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting as a Registered Nurse
