Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Accounts Receivable Specialist position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be on-site in Winter Park, FL for a duration of 6 months or more.
Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for organizing and the collecting receivables from clients of engineering company that has recently been acquired by new ownership. The collectibles, in most cases, are not disputed, but rather have been delinquent because of flawed billing processes and procedures. These processes must be organized and refined, and then put into action for active and systematic collection of past due invoices, with a goal to reduce aging cycle to terms, within the next 6 months.
A primary attraction / primary skills / important qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist, is the opportunity to effect a meaningful change for both old and new ownership, with the dramatic improvement of company accounting organization and management. The opportunity to effect immediate change, and to carve out a niche in the ongoing operations is possible, even though this is a specific task-oriented assignment with clear goals of meeting collections goals within a period of 6 months.
Qualified candidates would have a strong Accounts Receivable background, including the formulation of collections plans and implementation of these plans in a successful level of effort to obtain goals.
