As one of the oldest firms in New Jersey, VISSI will celebrate its 104th anniversary this March. Our team has an immediate part-time (8-12 hours per week) opening for an Office Manager / Project Accountant.
Qualifications
· 5 years of relevant experience
· Proficient in Deltek Vision or Vantage Point software
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
· Previous experience working in the AEC industry
· Commitment to high quality work and attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Accounts payable and receivable
Responsibilities
· Process, prepare and submit monthly project invoices using Deltek Vision/ Vantage Point
· Review, process and pay subconsultant invoices
· Manage and maintain project accounting software (Deltek)
· Review and approve timesheets
· Compile various project and employee reports
· Process and pay employee reimbursement expenses
· Preparation of draft invoices to distribute to Project Managers for their review
· Process invoices and send to clients
· Reconciliation of consultant accounts
· Track consultant fees against consultant expenses and reimbursables
· Reconcile consultant revenue accrual /recognition
· Follow-up with PMs and/or clients regarding open invoices (over 30-days, short payment, and duplicate payment)
· Provide invoice copies to clients
· Track consultants and other billing fees
· Maintain accurate filing system
