SUMMARY: The Pension Processor will support the Pension Department in serving and responding to clients needs on a daily basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist members with applications/death notifications via walk-insor phone calls;
- Check for missing documents;
- Send employer verifications;
- Prepare election form;
- Prepare retroactive interest for verification;
- Prepare summary analysis for verification;
- Request initial payments from financial institution;
- Suspend members due to death or no annual affidavit;
- Send out initial payments to members;
- Check for recalculation
- Estimate AFL Pension benefitsand vesting/credit services

Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, memos, letters, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
