Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee the payroll operations for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations. The Payroll Supervisor will manage a team of payroll staff, and collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure smooth payroll processes.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Responsible for the training of new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work of the team, and providing performance feedback to individuals on the team. The Payroll Supervisor will have consistent communication with the Chief Administrative Officer to monitor alignment of team goals and organizational processes.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee the payroll operations for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations. The Payroll Supervisor will manage a team of payroll staff, and collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure smooth payroll processes.
Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
- Supervise and manage the payroll team, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Oversee the calculation of employee wages, bonuses, deductions, and benefits
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues, including discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Prepare and submit reports related to payroll taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related activities
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures
- Coordinate with HR to maintain and update employee records, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in the payroll system
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll software and tools, ensuring the use of best practices
- Provide support for year-end reporting, including tax filings and W-2 preparation
- Liaise with external vendors, including tax agencies and benefits providers, to resolve payroll-related issues

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor or in a similar payroll management role
- Strong working knowledge of payroll software, with preferred experience in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and Paycore
- Experience with payroll tax regulations and benefits administration
- Ability to work with complex payroll data and demonstrate attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of applicable labor laws and payroll compliance requirements

- High level of organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Additional Requirements
- Required to pass the WI BID and other background checks, upon hire
- Must have good interpersonal skills and consistently demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
- Physical Requirements - Requires repetitive manual and finger dexterity and eye- hand coordination; requires the ability to use all office equipment. Must be able to remain awake and alert for the duration of each shift, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, twist, sit, and walk for periods of time.
- Visual, hearing, and communication requirements - Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with all staff, other professionals, and individuals. Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in English
