THE PROGRAM
The Stein Adult Day Programs serve individuals that have developmental disabilities to teach them basic life skills by supervising them on daily "outings" and activities. The work environment is challenging but rewarding. We are a caring organization with room for advancement. We have Adult Day Programs in Chula Vista, La Mesa, Kearny Mesa and San Diego. THE POSITION
The Site Coordinator performs under appropriate supervision in assisting in assessment, design, and implementation of all programming provided to consumers of the Adult Education Program and Employment Opportunities. This job has supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Program Supervisor under the supervision of the Director of Adult Services and / or Chief Executive Officer of Stein Education Center. An example of tasks include :
Participates in the development and implementation of consumers individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
Completes semi-annual and annual progress reports.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining communication with Regional Center parents, residential providers, and general community.
Participates in program documentation i.e., San Diego Regional Center, Community Care Licensing and SEC.
Provides direct services to the consumers as needed.
Ensures that the Community Training Specialists implement weekly schedule.
Transports clients in their care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Minimum 2 years experience with Developmentally Disabled population.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, TB and drug test requirements.
- This job is very physical in nature - applicants must be able to move quickly, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40lbs unassisted.
- CA Driver's License with 2 years clean record required.
HOURS
Full Time - Monday thru Friday
20.50 per hour
These are starting rates and may be adjusted up based on education and experience.
Current Vista Hill employees in these job titles for 2025 are paid :
20.50- $25.00
