Vista Innovative is seeking a Graphic Designer to support the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG).

Key Responsibilities :

• Leverage extensive knowledge of biological, medical, scientific, and technical concepts to advise USAMRICD subject matter experts on effective visual communication of complex ideas and processes.
• Analyze, design, develop, revise, update, and produce visual and multimedia products for training and education programs.
• Collaborate with government staff to establish layout designs.
• Generate designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
• Create graphics and layouts for various products, including illustrations, logos, and materials for both print and web media.
• Operate and maintain personal graphic workstations, the graphics photo / video studio and camera equipment, and workshop equipment such as printers, CD / DVD duplication machines, binding machines, pouch boards, roll laminators, and paper cutters.
• Produce briefs, articles, web content, and information products to effectively communicate with Army and external stakeholders.
• Develop high-quality graphic products that support learning and organizational objectives.
• Utilize knowledge and experience in multimedia animation and motion graphics, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Publisher.
• Provide graphic design services in support of scientific, technical, biological, and medical fields; maintain the graphics workshop, supplies, and equipment; and organize, document, and archive hard drives.
• Perform graphic design, medical illustration, 3D animation, layout creation, printing and finishing, fabrication, and daily graphic support duties. Typically handle between 5-20 work orders per week, varying from technically simple to complex.
• Deliver customer training to USAMRICD staff as needed, including graphics software training and instruction on visual information principles and techniques.
