What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Specialist position at VISTA MARIA?
TASKS OF THE POSITION
• Create, manage all social media platforms via updates, communicating/interacting with the public audience.
• Works with internal staff to develop social media content.
• Monitors content and updates based on program, agency events, etc.
• Research and stays abreast of social media trends and strategies.
• Monitor and report on social media platform analytics.
• Grow and maintain followers via Social Media platforms.
• Gather content to post on Social Media platforms.
• Assistance with development/update of the Vista Maria website content.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong social media skills with posting, sharing, communicating and building content with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, You Tube and other upcoming networking platforms.
• Strong typing skills, proofreading and editing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with an array of individuals.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Excellent time-management to meet any deadlines.
