VISTA Staffing Solutions is representing a community hospital in southwest Connecticut. We are seeking an exceptional Internal Medicine/Preventative Medicine Physician to serve as the Program Director for its Residency Program.
The highlights of this permanent, full-time position include:
- Leadership Role: Serve as the Program Director for a 4-year combined Internal and Preventative Medicine Residency program and 2-year Advanced Preventative Medicine Residency program.
- Teaching and Administration: Spend 70% of time on teaching and administration, and 30% on clinical work as a hospitalist.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in clinical education and leadership.
- An active Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.
- A valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
