Responsibilities:
- Review procurement packages for accuracy and completion and track
- Prepare and present various financial status reports
- Attend meetings and briefings, capture and disseminate minutes and required actions, provide status updates and track the completion of activities utilizing a Excel spreadsheets
- Create and maintain a spreadsheet consolidating software purchases across client divisions
- Respond to inquiries, questions, and requests by monitoring several customer mailboxes
- Perform mission and reimbursable package reviews and ensure all appropriate documents are attached, amounts match across the documentation, the periods of performance are consistent, and funding is available. Respond to questions from customer funds reviewers/funds certifiers about packages. Solicit additional information from divisions as necessary. Review submitted funding requests and coordinate with divisions for accurate completion
- Update and maintain all funding request files and notify the government of funding moves
- Track all open commitments and take actions as necessary to assist in obligating the transactions, with priority given to significant dollar amounts and aged transactions
- Assist the Government in clearing all Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and Negative Unliquidated Obligations transactions
- Attend Budget Execution Meetings, take notes, and for all open commitments and unliquidated obligations
- Maintain compliance with Financial Management Regulations (FMRs), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Anti-Deficiency Act, when corresponding and providing guidance to internal/external customers, subordinates, and leadership
- Support preparation and updates to financial execution data calls as required by the customer
Education / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Accounting, Finance, etc.) and 5 years of progressive experience in providing expertise in a functional domain (e.g., security, finance, personnel, acquisition, etc.) or technical disciplines OR No degree and 9 years of federal, DoD finance, and/or budget experience
- Familiar with using financial systems, DAI experience preferred
- Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Active DoD Secret clearance is required
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to review and assess trends and risks and develop resolutions to meet project/program goals and objectives.
- Detail-oriented to provide accurate and high-quality deliverables.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks with various stakeholders.
- Proficient using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) required.
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work on tasks independently and with a team.
- Strong writing skills are a plus.
