Key Accountabilities:
- Support all aspects of day-to-day operation and maintenance of generating stations.
- Maintain plant instrumentation and controls in optimal condition.
- Ensure and monitor safety and environmental compliance.
- Supervise, schedule, and assign multi-skilled technicians.
- Collaborate with peers to plan and conduct meetings.
- Provide troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of unit anomalies.
- Specify/purchase parts and materials for jobs.
- Create/update Preventative Maintenance and part lists.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of power generation plant experience.
- Experience with operations and maintenance at a coal fired power plant.
- Technical background or Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control background is an asset.
