QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma/GED preferred.
2. Experience must be in at least one area:
- Sound, Operational experience of live audio using sound consoles, wired microphones, wireless microphone systems, front of house mixing, monitor mixing systems and mixing for broadcast.
- Video, Operational experience of video production switchers, cameras, video routers, shading, projectors, video streaming technologies.
- Lighting, Operational experience and design of lighting systems for theatre, banquet, concert, and video production needs. Moving light operation. Spotlight use.
- Rigging, -Operational experience of rigging systems with chain motors, truss, fly rail operation or electric batons.
3. Must be flexible in regard to working nights, weekends and holidays, indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a part-time temporary assignment, however, the length of the temporary assignment will be determined based on project needs.
PAY:
$23.00/hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Setup audio, lighting, rigging, video equipment and provide technical support to the MHAB conference center and the Visual and Performing Arts Center.
2. Provide quality customer service to the general public, district staff, promoters and other clients.
3. Operate the technical equipment during live events, including concerts, graduations, theatrical events, church services, meetings, banquets and plays.
4. Report malfunctions and faulty equipment and assist in the repair of technical equipment.
5. Track and report working hours and equipment use for billing purposes.
6. Set-up, troubleshoot, and operate Audio/Visual equipment including but not limited to Mac and PC computers, routers, projectors, screens, WAN/LAN, and wireless microphones.
7. Have a strong knowledge and understanding of audio, lighting, rigging, video equipment and other technical systems at the MHAB and VPAC facilities.
8. Assist other departments as needed.
9. Meet with and support clients and assist with the successful operation of technology at the Visual and Performaing Arts Center (VPAC) and the Mark Henry Administration Building (MHAB).
10. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control within high stress environments, repetitive hand motions, frequent sitting, standing, walking, lifting, climbing, moving, and carrying. Will be working on high platforms, catwalks, portable stages, spotlight towers and various scaffolding. Frequent prolonged or irregular hours from week to week including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Computers and other basic office machines, electronic scoreboard, sound systems, video systems, cameras, projection systems, lighting systems, electric batons/chain motors, truss, relay systems, 3-phase power distribution systems, safety control systems, fall protection items, high lifts, curtains, fly rail systems, routers, switches, RF systems, fiber systems, hand tools, multi-meter, scopes, laser distance meters, radios and communication equipment.
