General Description
Responsible for processing and recording a company's outgoing deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials and supplies in a warehouse and dispatch environment.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- collate and process product orders
- Palletize cartons, stretch wrap and strap pallets
- prepare paperwork for shipments
- pull correct inventory from storage
- print shipment labels and customs documents where necessary
- ensure shipments are properly identified and labeled
- track and update the status of outgoing shipments
- confer with productions to ensure shipments are completed as scheduled
- notify customer service on any schedule or order changes
- enter daily activity information into electronic spreadsheet
- maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- comply with all safety regulations
- adhere to standard operating procedures
Education, Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of UPS WorldShip and Fed Ex shipping station
- proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Word and Excel
- ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts (will train)
- adhere to shipping and inventory operating procedures

Physical Requirements
