BID SUPPORT- QUOTATIONS
Provide detailed and timely quotations on our specified and design build projects to distribution and electrical contractors. A solid foundation of lighting and controls is key to an accurate competitively priced BOM. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, with excellent communication skills, and experience in the lighting industry. This is an in-office OR remote position, located anywhere in the US or ideally in CO, NM or El Paso, TX.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assemble detailed bills of materials and VE options when necessary
- Independent worker and thinker
- Self-Motivated and looking to grow
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Effectively manage your time on multiple projects and deadlines
- Read plans, specifications, and fixture schedule to submit an accurate quote.
KEY SKILLS
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and fixture schedules.
- Proven track record in meeting deadlines
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with internal departments in a clear and timely manner
- Driven to learn, succeed, and advance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent vocational training.
- 3-5 Years’ experience in lighting/electrical industry preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam
- Ideal candidate has experience in Oasis or similar quoting software
- Professional demeanor & presentation
- Strong communication skills and working within an organization

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
