Role Description
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for fulfilling various HR functions as needed to ensure the department runs efficiently with the direction of the HR Manager. This role will be well-versed in recruitment, bi-weekly payroll processing, employee relations, performance evaluations, benefits administration, compliance and reporting, injury administration, and training. This includes but not limited to following safety, quality, and efficiencies within the department.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Specialist, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written) is required.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Paycom HR and Payroll software is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- HR certification is a plus or degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience.
- Background in Manufacturing or related industry a plus.
