Job Summary
The Home Infusion Pharmacy Warehouse Technician/Delivery Driver is responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of the delivery, delivery of medications, supplies, equipment to patient homes or clinics, assist with inventory management and pharmacy maintenance. The employee will interact with pharmacy personnel to maintain and organize the medication and supply inventory, prepare medication and supplies for deliveries, delivery routes, and pack the deliveries. The employee will interact with patients to coordinate and schedule medication deliveries. The employee may have some patient education responsibilities related to medication and supply organization and storage in the home. This position reports to the pharmacy manager.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required: At least 18 years of age
- Required: Valid driver's license with good driving record and a reliable vehicle
- Required: Good interactive skills with employees, supervisors, referral sources, and consumers
- Required: Good communication skills with employees, supervisors, referral sources, and consumers
- Preferred: DME or pharmacy delivery experience

May require lifting over 40 lb.
Lifting cases of patient supplies, enteral formula
and infusion solutions
Will require use of latex products
Clean and sterile gloves
May require moderate to high amounts of driving (extended sitting)

Essential Job Functions
- Perform infusion related deliveries in compliance with regulatory and compliance standards as
- Assist with routing of deliveries
- Assist with preparation of medication and supplies for the delivery
- Assist with inventory organization and management
- Assist with general maintenance of the pharmacy.
Hours:
- Per Diem Position
- Shifts Vary. Occasional Saturday hours may be required.
