Our client is seeking a skilled& Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician & to join their team. This role focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting operations and troubleshooting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Prioritize workplace safety and support injury-free operations.
Follow and enforce safety protocols and participate in audits of new and existing equipment.
Conduct new mold inspections, installations, and setups.
Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machinery to resolve issues or implement improvements.
Collaborate with Engineering on process development and productivity initiatives.
Partner with shift technicians to optimize process efficiencies.
Interpret quality system data as it relates to molding processes.
Maintain accurate documentation and data communication.
Work overtime as required.
Qualifications :
Experience : & Minimum of 5 years in plastics injection molding with hands-on practical experience.
Education : & A 2 year technical degree is preferred.
Skills :
Proficiency in mold installation procedures and understanding of key processing parameters.
Strong troubleshooting skills and technical aptitude.
Working knowledge of IQMS systems and basic computer literacy.
Testing Requirements : & Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude assessments.
