Full job description
We are seeking an experienced& MLS Blood Bank Supervisor& to oversee the activities and team within the Blood Bank department. This role involves supervising day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality service, and providing care for patients of all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Blood Bank operations, including team management and workflow coordination.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing operational challenges and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Serve patients across the lifespan, ensuring accurate and timely test results.
- Assume additional supervisory responsibilities as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:& Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- Certification:& Certified as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or a specialist in a related field (preferred).
- Experience:& Minimum of 2 years of experience in a computerized laboratory environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a Blood Bank or clinical lab setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex workflows.
- Commitment to patient care and quality improvement.
