- Directs the planning, development, management and adoption of patient engagement and clinical information technologies across the enterprise to drive and promote organizational goals
- Develops and evaluates departmental annual budget.
- Manages direct reports to include, but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, developing of goals and expectations, conducting performance reviews, salary
- Promotes best practices of informatics to maximize efficiency of clinical technology systems and support evidence-based practice
- Performs needs assessment and gap analysis as needed to identify process improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, innovative, and resourceful
- Able to create and execute on the development of a robust clinical informatics program
- Conducts education and training to clinical informatics team and interdisciplinary teams as needed related to informatics expertise
