Fire Sprinkler Fitter

Job Description:

We are hiring a Commercial Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing team in Connecticut. This non-union position is ideal for experienced, hands-on professionals looking to work in commercial construction environments. The right candidate will take pride in quality workmanship, safety, and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, and maintain commercial fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge).

• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.

• Measure, cut, thread, and install pipes using tools and equipment in compliance with NFPA 13 standards.

• Pressure test and inspect installed systems to ensure proper operation.

• Collaborate with supervisors, general contractors, and other trades on job sites.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.

• Complete daily work logs and job reports.

• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company protocols.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of fire sprinkler installation experience (commercial preferred).

• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and commercial building fire protection systems.

• Ability to read technical drawings and install systems with minimal supervision.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred (or willing to obtain).

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, and work in elevated areas.

• Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to safety and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
