Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about research that drives meaningful change? Vital Research is seeking a Research Coordinator (April-December 2025) to support and manage a seasonal quality of life research and evaluation project that drives meaningful insights and change.
As a key player on our team, youll be responsible for coordinating all aspects of a seasonal research project, supervising field staff, and ensuring seamless project execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys managing multiple moving parts with precision.
What Youll Do
Project Coordination: Coordinate project plans, maintain schedules, and ensure research activities run smoothly.
Field Staff Oversight: Recruit, screen, and manage field staff while coordinating training and logistics.
Survey Administration: Plan, schedule, and oversee data collection, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Client & Team Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, support technical needs, and coordinate team meetings.
Data Management: Maintain online platforms, process data files, and test survey programs for accuracy.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement more efficient ways of executing research projects.
What You Bring
Bachelors degree in a social science field or equivalent experience.
Three years of coordination experience (including one year of supervisory experience preferred).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflows.
Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and experience with research software/tools.
A proactive, flexible, and adaptable mindset that thrives in a dynamic environment.
