Job Description:
As an Entry-Level Interior Designer, you will play a key role in assisting with the design and layout of our new medical office. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the practice owner and management, assisting with space planning, selecting materials, creating mood boards, and ensuring that the design complies with healthcare standards and regulations. This position will offer you the opportunity to apply your design knowledge in a real-world setting while working within a team to bring the vision of the office space to life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of design concepts and layouts for the new medical office
- Support the selection of materials, finishes, and furniture that align with the project’s vision
- Create mood boards and visual presentations for approval
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure designs are executed as planned
- Help ensure that all designs meet healthcare-specific regulations and accessibility standards
- Provide general support to the senior design team throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Interior Design program (students are encouraged to apply)
- Strong knowledge of design principles, space planning, and color theory
- Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A passion for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces in a healthcare setting
