The Opportunity :
Vital Strategies' Policy Advocacy and Communication Division is seeking an energetic undergraduate or graduate student with a keen interest in creating digital content to build the organization's brand and voice. The intern will support our communications team in planning and creating content for use across our channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X, showcasing our work, programs, experts, thought leadership and vision for a world where everyone is protected by equitable and effective health systems.
This Vital Strategies internship opportunity is based in New York, NY. Internships are hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office and are paid ($17 / hour for undergraduate students and $20 / hour for graduate students) up to 20 hours a week, for a duration of up to 12 weeks. The anticipated length of the internship is September-November, 2024.
Responsibilities :
1. Assist in conceptualizing ideas and producing content for social media
2. Assist in writing and / or designing content for the creative & digital team
3. Draft and schedule posts on our channels
4. Generate and monitor social media performance reports
Qualifications :
Education Preference -
- Junior or senior undergrad or graduate student in a digital communication, digital media, design or similar program
