Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay Rate: $130/hr onsite patient care hours, $100/hr telemedicine lab review hours.
Schedule:
Copiague- 4/29.
Westbury- 4/30.
Full Description
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Advanced Practice Provider to provide general wellness checkups on site at a private business in Copiague and Westbury, NY. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care (usually no more than 20 patients per day).
Responsibilities:
- Provide general wellness checkups.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Perform blood draws for patients.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Active clean Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant license to practice in New York.
- Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
- Advanced practice certification in dermatology (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
- A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
- Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Patient education driven.
- Personal laptop or tablet required.
- Must be able to commute to Copiague and/ or Westbury, NY.
- Currently working in a private practice in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (preferred).
