IT PROJECT MANAGER JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead our technology initiatives, ensuring they align with our mission to provide exceptional healthcare in correctional settings. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of navigating complex projects from conception through to successful implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership : Oversee all aspects of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with correctional facility regulations.

Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the primary liaison between IT teams, clinical staff, correctional facility management, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication and expectations management.

Risk Management : Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issues as they arise to keep projects on track.

Resource Management : Efficiently allocate resources, manage budgets, and ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

Innovation Implementation : Drive the adoption of new technologies or systems improvements, particularly those enhancing EHR systems, telehealth capabilities, and data security within the correctional environment.

Quality Assurance : Ensure all IT solutions meet the high standards required for healthcare delivery, with a focus on reliability, security, and user satisfaction.

Reporting : Provide regular updates on project status, deliverables, and milestones to senior management and stakeholders.

IT PROJECT MANAGER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related field.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Proven experience in project management for 8 years

Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.

Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.

Experience as a construction project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager.

Able to complete projects in a timely manner.

Understanding of ERP implementation.

Experience overseeing a construction project.

Budget management experience.

Must be able to pass a background check
