**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies, an industry leader in Correctional Healthcare. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality care consistent with the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act for Registered Nurses.
- Work in accordance with local practice acts and regulations, delegate and ensure supervision of nursing activities and functions to other competent nursing personnel appropriate to their scope of practice.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
- Direct or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel or supervise a particular unit.
- Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and childbirth as well as develop health improvement programs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Acute care experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced correctional healthcare environment.

**Shift Options:**
Full-Time - Days (6am-6pm)
Full-Time - Nights (6pm-6am) with $2 night shift differential
