Master's Level Mental Health Clinician
Job Summary:
The Licensed Professional Counselor role at VitalCore involves working as part of a dynamic team to provide comprehensive mental health services to patients. This includes administering assessments, making clinical decisions, and providing mental health treatment.
- Conduct intakes and ongoing evaluations
- Provide crisis stabilization and collaborate with the medical team to determine overall treatment plans
- Co-lead group therapy, one-on-one therapy, and crisis therapy sessions
Essential Functions:
- Risk assessment of inmates
- Coordination of care with interdisciplinary team
- Discharge planning
- Preparation of documentation and records
- Utilization of clinical skills such as prioritizing treatment needs, crisis management, and brief clinical interventions
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed, master's-level behavioral health clinician with a LCSW, LPC, or equivalent license
- Graduation from a master's-level program
- Minimum of one year of employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent
- Must pass a satisfactory background investigation report
