VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in correctional healthcare, has an opening for a Statewide Psychiatric Director for our Regional Office in Dover, Delaware! We are seeking a highly qualified Statewide Psychiatric Director to oversee the psychiatric services provided to inmates in the Michigan Department of Corrections. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all psychiatric services are delivered in accordance with the highest standards of care and in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to psychiatric care, as well as providing clinical supervision to psychiatric staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of five years of experience in the practice of psychiatry
- Minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory or administrative role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a correctional setting
- Experience working with underserved populations
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of psychiatric services to inmates in the Michigan Department of Corrections
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to psychiatric care
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatric staff
- Ensure that all psychiatric services are delivered in accordance with the highest standards of care
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
