We are seeking a Hospice Nurse to join our team and provide compassionate care to our patients. Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families.
- Assess and monitor the patient's physical and emotional condition.
- Provide comfort measures such as pain management, symptom control, and end-of-life care.
- Educate the patient and family about the illness, treatment options, and end-of-life care.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for the patient.
- Document patient's condition and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license and relevant certifications in hospice care
- Proficient in patient assessment and care, including catheterization and IV insertion
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient and family interaction
- Experience in long-term care and assisted living settings
- Ability to manage complex patient needs, including tube feeding and airway management
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
