Location Requirement: This position is open to candidates within Upstate New York or those willing to relocate to the area.

Position Summary:
This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of behavior support plans for individuals aged 5-21 with challenging behaviors in a residential school setting. The position offers weekday daytime hours with no travel required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the process of conducting functional behavior assessments (direct & indirect).
- Conduct regular and formal behavior observations across various environments and adjust interventions/plans accordingly.
- Develop and implement behavior support plans using ethical behavior analysis practices.
- Develop behavioral goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with treatment teams.
- Create data collection systems for plans and analyze behavioral data.
- Collaborate with staff to address behavior challenges and implement replacement behaviors.
- Provide direct care in classroom or residential settings as needed to model behavior interventions.
- Respond to crisis team calls and assist in behavioral emergencies.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings.
- Supervise Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) in training as assigned.
- Consult with other professionals regarding behavioral analysis and treatment techniques.
- Participate in psychiatric clinic appointments as needed.
- Utilize Human Rights Committee for restrictive interventions when necessary.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding behavioral progress and obtain necessary approvals.
- Adhere to ethical standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements:
- BCBA certification or relevant state licensure and a master’s degree required.
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn various computer software applications, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and assist with heavier weights as needed.
- Must meet the requirements to operate company vehicles, if applicable.
- Must be able to perform all physical interventions required for the role.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
