What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Millennium Park position at VitalSkin Dermatology?
As a Medical Assistant, you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting dermatology providers at our downtown practice locations. You are ensuring that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care, while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practices standards and procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients, as well as assisting providers during medical and cosmetic procedures.
This is an on-site position at our Millennium Park location. Starting compensation range is competitive.
You are detailed-oriented, proactive, initiative-taking individual with a passion for healthcare. A plus - previous scribing and clinical experience. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you also have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. In addition, you have the ability to work as a team member; manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excel under pressure; be empathetic with patients needs and concerns; be attentive to detail; and be able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all your interactions with others.
Our Millennium Park Practice is a modern and fast-paced practice well-known for its extensive offerings of skincare treatments, high standard of services, excellent quality of patient care, and diverse team of exceptional individuals. It is located in downtown Chicago at 150 N. Michigan Avenue. We are close to public transportation (Red and Brown Lines, and several CTA buses) and near busy Millennium Park.
