What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Millennium Park AND Bourbonnais position at VitalSkin Dermatology?
As a Medical Assistant, you are a part of a collaborative team scribing for and supporting dermatology providers at our downtown practice locations. You are ensuring that all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care, while demonstrating consistent adherence to the practices standards and procedures. You are an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients, as well as assisting providers during medical and cosmetic procedures.
REQUIREMENT: Ability to commute to both sites

(2) Pinski Dermatology in Bourbonnais - 374 Larrry Power Road, Bourbonnais, IL

You are detailed-oriented, proactive, initiative-taking individual with a passion for healthcare. A plus - previous scribing and clinical experience. Along with basic typing, computer, English, and mathematical skills, you also have an appropriate sense of discretion in dealing with varied and difficult situations; ensure compliance with all HIPPPA regulations; and able to communicate effectively with providers, patients, co-workers, and vendors. In addition, you have the ability to work as a team member; manage multiple tasks simultaneously and excel under pressure; be empathetic with patients needs and concerns; be attentive to detail; and be able to convey a positive, professional attitude in all your interactions with others.
Tentative work schedule: 40 hours per week. 4 day work week. Clinical dress code is black scrubs.
