PURPOSE
The Shipping Coordinator I prepares shipping documentation, processes orders, completes reports, and operates material handling equipment in a safe manner. The Coordinator is responsible for providing the material handling and processing support for all inbound/outbound parcel, LTL carriers and help with inventory control and warehouse organization.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Utilizes Company ERP system for shipping, receiving, tracking, of Vitamix products.
- Monitors, tracks, and restocks parts for shipping station. Weighs and records all airfreight shipments.
- Generates daily shipping labels for shipment. Ensure all products to be shipped have correct mailing label attached.
- Safely operates equipment to move finished product for shipping or storage, and when loading/unloading trucks. Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials
- Pulls parts and product to package for shipping to customers. Stages product to be moved or shipped.
- Observes all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain a clean and neat work area.
- Maintains a sense of urgency, exhibits a bias toward actions on getting the job done on schedule with 100% accuracy.
- Provides excellent customer service to internal customers.
- Creates bill of lading documentation using 3rd party logistics portals.
- Utilizes automatic labeling machine to execute sales orders.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Previous experience in a shipping environment, or experience working as Vitamix Assembler
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with material handling equipment or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days
