Title: Machine Operator -2nd shift
Shifts:2nd shift available
Monday - Friday - Overtime available!
- 2nd shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am (Midnight)
Department: Packaging
Reports To: Powder Manager, Powder Supervisor
Machine Operators Position Purpose and Objectives
Responsible for the overall operation of the machines assigned to.
Machine Operators Essential Job Functions
- Machine Operators must follow all GMPs and relevant SOPs.
- Responsible for all matters pertaining to the set-up and operating machines.
- Responsible for meeting all requirements leading to production release.
- Machine Operators make sure the proper packaging components are staged.
- Continuously monitors production throughout the shift.
- Fill out GSN packaging batch record.
- Machine Operators are responsible for the safety and cleanliness of machines assigned to.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required by Machine Operators
- This individual must be able to read and apply the information contained in the product specification to their operation.
- Calculate and track production gains and losses.
- Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills.
- Expresses ideas and thoughts verbally and written form.
- Exhibits good listening and comprehension skills.
- Displays willingness to make decisions and explains reasons.
- Displays problem solving skills and able to accept criticism.
- Maintain quality, and safety standards.
- Lift heavy objects (30 lb. average).
Supervisory Responsibility
- Assigning operators and monitoring quality and productivity.
Working Conditions
- Decision making environment, Strong Interaction with Supervision and Quality.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school or equivalent.
- Experience with Batch records
- Minimum of 1 year packaging line operation experience.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for machine setup.
- Must have adequate verbal communication, math, and reading skills.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
